Mandelic acid is an AHA with BHA properties, working on the surface of the skin to slough off dead skin cells. As it is also slightly oil-soluble, it is able to enter the oil within pores to break down blockages which can lead to blemishes.

BHA salicylic acid also gets to work within pores to help clear residue. By breaking down the impurities inside the pore, the scrub helps to minimise the appearance of enlarged pores.

Wonderful product for a sensitive skin

Amazing product. I have sensitive skin, so finding the right scrub is a challenge. The Medik8 scrub is fantastic. It keeps my skin moisturized, shrinks my pores, and leaves a wonderful overall feeling on my face. Definitely recommend it.

Pore scrub

Have purchased a few Medik8 products recently, I was looking to change my skin care products. Bought the scrub after using the other products I bought as was so pleased with how they were on my skin. Only use the scrub twice a week and am happy so far, I do feel its a little too rough on my skin but thats maybe because I usually use a fine powder scrub. Skin feels fine after using though and not sore or tight feeling.

Skin feels refreshed

I really like how fine this scrub is for the face, I feel like it really got into all the crevasses on my face. I have not used long enough to notice a difference in my pores yet but I will continue to use. I did notice my skin feeling a little tingly in some areas when I was applying the rest of my skincare after using this but nothing intolerable. Definitely recommend!

After-spa facial feeling

Im suffering with acne and close comedone. A friend of mine highly recommend this. Started using it every 2days careful not to exfoliate too much nor damage my skin barrier. The product is very smooth and gentle to apply and gives u the fresh after-spa facial feeling.

Great buy!

This is the first time Ive bought this scrub. It allows you to really exfoliate your face or gently exfoliate at the same time. Ive been using it for a couple of weeks now, every couple of days to suit my need and it has made such a difference. It did make me break out slightly in my problem area for the first week but now I havent had a break out since. I did think the size of this product wouldnt last but you only need a small amount per use. The Medik8 range is really wonderful!
